Jens Lehmann had just returned from the World Cup in Doha when we sat with him in Munich. He is known for being a bit ‘prickly’, and at the time of our sit he was actually in the middle of a dispute with his neighbor. Apparently, the neighbor built a garage that impeded Jens’ view of the lake. After exhausting his legal options, Jens got a chainsaw and simply took care of it himself. It was unfortunate for him that the neighbor had cameras, so he did not get away with it.

We shared a laugh about this. From his early days at Shalka, to the World Cup, to the ‘Invincibles’ – the man has had a remarkable career and I hope you enjoy hearing it laid out on soccerPod.
